The First Year Residential Experience (FYRE) program is a year-long series of dialogues, seminars and activities that helps faculty navigate teaching and learning at Phoenix College. More than a program, FYRE is a community dedicated to welcoming and integrating new residential faculty to the life of our campus community.
Topics explored include:
The program also provides new faculty with an opportunity to meet formally and informally with colleagues, mentors, college administrators and key personnel. Through these meetings new faculty will establish important relationships to support their development as professionals at the college.
