eLearning Committee
The eLearning Committee is dedicated to ensuring Phoenix College delivers teaching and learning experiences that inspire the lifelong pursuit of educational, professional, and personal goals for our diverse urban community. The committee is comprised of faculty across departments, academic administrators and CTL staff. The work of the committee is focused on creating and implementing the college’s distance learning plans including the development of online courses and fully online programs, ensuring the success of students in online courses, preparing faculty for online instruction and more.

The CTL maintains the eLearning resources for both faculty and students and serves as the administration and main support for the online learning management system, Canvas. This support includes online readiness tools, success strategies, services for online students, tutorials for using Canvas for faculty and students, information about our online programs and more.

Quality Matters - Standards for Online Course Design
Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, research-based, faculty-centered, peer review process and professional development program designed to acknowledge the quality of online/hybrid courses. The CTL oversees the implementation of QM for our campus.
