Collaboration
Learning Together
Collaboration is one of the skills expected in the 21st century workplace. Individuals are expected to work effectively in diverse teams, move towards a common purpose, take responsibility for the work of the team and value of input and efforts of team members. As educators we are expected to help develop these skills in our students. Collaborative technologies has made this more efficient and effective by providing a wide set of features that supports the creation, revision and sharing of work and ideas in real-time or at different times and places.
Collaboration tools you are probably most familiar with are Google and Skype, but new collaborative tools are constantly being developed.
