There are many funding opportunities for innovative teaching and learning projects offered each year through district-wide and college programs. Projects range from one-time events or activities to full course redesigns. Funding can be for expenses related to the project and/or time spent in development.

Maricopa MillionsMaricopa Millions is a project to reduce the cost of textbooks and materials in the district through support of Open Educational Resource (OER) creation. Each year the project funds qualifying proposals from faculty interested in reducing textbook and course materials to low cost or no cost ($40 or less). The project includes training and resources for those selected.
Calls for proposals are typically made early Fall with applications being due in the late Fall. The Maricopa Institute for Learning Research FellowshipThe Maricopa Institute for Learning Research Fellowship (MILRF) is a fellowship for residential faculty in any discipline who are interested in examining significant issues in their teaching fields and contributing to the scholarship of teaching and learning through classroom research projects. Its secondary purpose is to create a community of scholars who engage in conversations about the scholarship of teaching and learning.
